Jackson & Blanc partnered with DPR Construction to design and install HVAC and plumbing systems at the new 45,000-square-foot San Diego County Sheriff’s Administration Facility and Data Center in the Kearny Mesa neighborhood of San Diego. The new facility enhances the Sheriff’s department’s technological capabilities, including improved wireless communication and data services. The $4 million project consisted of new mechanical systems including connection to the existing chilled water facility, new CHW/HHW VAV air handlers, and fully customized BASX rooftop data center units. Keeping energy efficiency and sustainability top-of-mind, the project was certified LEED Silver.
