Jackson & Blanc was selected to provide HVAC construction for the new southwestern college athletic support facility. The facility consisted of classrooms, lecture halls, weight training areas, and other athletic support functions.
The HVAC system was comprised of custom rooftop VAV air handlers with chilled water provided from the campus central plant. Many of the areas has exposed ductwork that required careful construction and layout to meet the aesthetics of the design intent. BIM modeling was provided to ensure efficient construction and minimize field changes.
The project was certified LEED Silver.
